Job Brief:
Our client who is in the manufacture of leather safety boots, safety shoes and school shoes is seeking to hire a Marketing Associate. This position is responsible for supporting brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth through innovative marketing initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Social Media Management
    • Create social media handles paying close attention to brand language.
    • Assist in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).
    • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
  2. Digital Marketing & Brand Communication
    • Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns (email, online ads, influencer campaigns).
    • Support in creating marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and digital banners.
    • Track campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.
    • Participate in brand story telling.
  1. Web Development & Maintenance
    • Support front-end and back-end website development and updates using platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or custom code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
    • Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) implementation and performance tracking.
    • Ensure website content is up-to-date and aligned with marketing campaigns.
    • Test website functionality and report bugs or issues.
  2. Reporting & Analysis
    • Generate regular reports on digital marketing and social media performance.
    • Analyze data and present insights to improve marketing strategies.
    • Monitor competitors’ digital activities and suggest improvements.

d) Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Identify, prospect, and secure partnerships with institutions (corporates, schools etc.).
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations tailored to client needs.
  • Execute cold calls, warm lead follow-ups, and persuasive sales presentations with confidence.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Build, nurture, and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and loyalty.
  • Deliver high service standards by anticipating client needs and collaborating with internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Represent the company as a brand ambassador at client meetings, trade fairs, expos, and industry events.
  1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Prepare accurate weekly and monthly sales reports on lead conversions, closed deals, and revenue performance.
  • Maintain updated and organized client records using CRM systems.
  • Provide timely sales forecasts and market intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
  1. Market Development
  • Recommend innovative sales activations and marketing initiatives to increase visibility and expand market reach.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to contribute to campaigns and lead generation strategies.
